Performance levels had definitely dropped, no doubt about it. Early season we were playing quite well, we weren't getting points we deserved, away at PNE and Swansea spring to mind. From about Halloween on we weren't as good, but we were still ticking along points wise until the Beale sacking. We wouldn't have made the playoffs though, we do need a centre forward, imo we need 2.

You've asked me a very similar question before and I said it's pointless me answering as I don't watch enough of the rest of the league to be able to give a realistic answer.

Yes, we were picking up points when Beale was still here but as mentioned this was down to Jack Clarke carrying us. Clarke gets injured in Beale's last game and the points then virtually totally dry up.

The performances had been pretty poor throughout Beale's reign and even for a lot of Mowbray's reign last season.

For me this is down to the first team being noticeably weaker than the previous season. It hasn't really been strengthened so far so if we go into the season as we are now, I can't see any better than mid table.

Time isn't irrelevant, we needed players in at the start of pre season, I gave the reasons why in a previous post which again you completely ignored. It isn't my fault that we are pinning our hopes on a 19 year old who has no goals from open play since he signed, It's not the lads fault its the recruitments.
