Not to be critical you go on and on and people lose interest in your argument. This is why I’m convinced you’re a wum. You ask questions and people answer you, when in gets too difficult to answer good points, your resort to shit like this.
Then a few days later you’ll repeat the same shit hoping people have forgot.
If I’m wrong about any of what I’ve wrote, tell me how, what isn’t justified in any of that?
Pathetic !Not to be critical you go on and on and people lose interest in your argument.
If you could condense your thoughts a bit ill respond
You really are one very strange bloke![]()
He may be totally right. But I haven't read it to confirmYou’re not responding because you know everything he has said is correct. But you are now trying to work out a “clever” response to wind him up and have a go. We all see through you.
And this constant liking posts with the laughing emoji shows what a clown you are.
Needs to find that level of effort that Rigg already has achieved, hopefully he's prepared to do it as a sub but he's got a hell of a task to win his place back. Aouchiche is a forward, not sure where, but not a central midfielder.I think a firing on all cylinders Ekwah gets in that 3. I'd also like to see Aouchiche as he offers creativity
As has been pointed out by several others, its the fact that you are relentless with it and the negativity. It's every single day man. How?
It’s a fact Baz. That’s exactly your reaction, you didn’t want Beale, nothing wrong with that a lot of us didn’t, you reacted to it as a fan, nowt wrong with it, a bit ott but that’s life as a Sunderland fan.
Where you fall down massively is, you could see how bad of an appointment Beale was. Others can see how our transfer strategies are costing us dearly, but rather than acknowledge opinions and see it’s justified in what happened last season, much like your criticism of Beale was justified, as you don’t agree, you slate them.
How is people raising concern over our transfer strategy which lead to us coming close to relegation, any different to you questioning the signing of Beale?
Aouchiche could play in a 3, like where Jobe has been playingNeeds to find that level of effort that Rigg already has achieved, hopefully he's prepared to do it as a sub but he's got a hell of a task to win his place back. Aouchiche is a forward, not sure where, but not a central midfielder.
He may be totally right. But I haven't read it to confirm
Genuine questions....
1. What is the "lot of good stuff" that's been done this summer?
2. What has happened to give you the impression we look on good shape under le Bris?
Fair enough mate but when a football club solely signs players for the future rather than bringing in players who can improve the first team now then there's a very strong chance they're going up end up going backwards.
As has been pointed out by several others, its the fact that you are relentless with it and the negativity. It's every single day man.
I get you're not happy, I even understand it and can relate to a lot if it. I just don't get why some feel the need to complain about it every day and get into arguments, its not gonna change anything.
My point is solely that the negativity gets really tedious and drags the place down sometimes. Aye, the striker situation is beyond a joke, I can't dispute that, but there are positives to take from this summer that need to be recognized too.
Can we just leave it there, I really can't be arsed to bicker on the internet all day mate![]()
1. I agree about the signing of Browne being very refreshing in terms of his profile. Likewise if we manage to get Mendy.1. The signings have been positive in the sense we have compromised and brought in Championship experience. Great news on Ballard and Rigg signing a new deal as well.
2. Can't take too much from pre season games but the shape of the side looks really good and very well organised. Le Bris mentioned in his first interview that we were going to play 4-3-3 in attack and 4-4-2 out of possession and the shape of the team is really clear to see. You can see in our patterns of play that we are trying to play in the triangles he has mentioned. I'm optimistic in that sense.
But............We really need a competent striker or two. And if we don't get them we are going to be in trouble. Could go either way this season.
Difference is, I had my meltdown about Beale, said my piece, and then waited for it all to go to shit. You, on the other hand, have moaned on about this pretty much every single day repeatedly. The club aren't gonna read your posts and decide to do something different you know. It’s a thread about us signing a striker. People have raised concerns that we still are in the same posistion we were in 2 years ago.
It’s absolutely no different to you opening a Michael Beale thread and spitting your dummy well and truly out.
My partners mates a huge Wednesdays fan.1. I agree about the signing of Browne being very refreshing in terms of his profile. Likewise if we manage to get Mendy.
I'm not so sure on Poveda though. Although he has played games at this level it feels very much like another signing based on what he could be rather than what he is right now. He also plays in a position where we have a load of options.
The current facts are that the season starts in 11 days and so far we've made two free transfer signings and still have gaps in the squad that have been there for 18 months. For me, it's a massive push to be happy with this.
2. The first bit of your response is key here. Pre season friendlies always have to be taken with a pinch of salt. As do the things coaches say. The only way to judge is when the actual competitive football starts.
I'm willing him to do well but again for me it's a massive push for anyone to say that things look good under him yet.
To have both Stewart and Simms injured was extremely unlucky. However this allowed Amad into the side and we played some glorious football. Agreed? You want it summarised?
concerns about our squad depth, particularly up front, have been repeatedly dismissed, only to be proven valid. In August 2022, we lacked strikers and injuries soon highlighted our weakness. Similar issues arose in January when Stewart got injured, showing our inadequate planning. Despite some individual brilliance, we still had glaring weaknesses. The same scenario repeated in August 2023, leading to a poor season. The long-term incompetence over 18-24 months has been obvious, yet concerns were dismissed as negativity. This cycle needs to stop; valid concerns shouldn't be ignored. If you can't see this, you're either stirring trouble or willfully blind.
I'm all for that mate@Baz @Dobblemackem @radjee gadjee @1more @Northumberland Rocks can yous just please pack ot it bickering and all shut the fuck up and let this thread get back on topic the way yous all are going on us absolutely pathetic
Agreed@Baz @Dobblemackem @radjee gadjee @1more @Northumberland Rocks can yous just please pack it bickering and all shut the fuck up and let this thread get back on topic the way yous all are going on us absolutely pathetic
Dan Neil is an excellent footballer and Browne looks a good addition. If they can complement each other and protect the defence then great but I’m not convinced. What is the source of your usernamme
Dan Neil is a competent dcm. People just want him further forward. He's getting better every year as well
That plus Browne is a lot better at covering forward and back and adds much needed experience.
The majority of the signings from January 2023 onwards have certainly been focusing on the future rather than the now. Barely any of them made any prolonged positive impact in the first team. They don't, and haven't solely signed players for the future. They've brought Browne and Poveda to the side already and secured the services of some of our brightest young players. This in the face of a blizzard of posts claiming almost every single one of them would be sold. We know they're in the hunt for a centre forward and in my view they have been in every single window since they arrived. I guess I'm long enough in the tooth to understand that you can't always get what you want in life precisely when you want it. As ever I'm looking forward to the new season with a good deal of optimism.
Have a good day mate.
To have both Stewart and Simms injured was extremely unlucky. However this allowed Amad into the side and we played some glorious football. Agreed?
Also you need to recognise we had Broadhead ready to sign but he had a change of heart after he didn't fancy the challenge of getting into the side. Agreed?
January 2023 we signed Gelhardt ahead of numerous other clubs and we were in for Simms all window but in the end Everton wouldn't let him go. Agreed?
August 2023 we signed 4 strikers. Hemir and Mayenda were signed as back ups / for the future in my opinion. Rusyn was 1st choice and one they Chased all summer. Unfortunately it hasn't quite worked for him yet. We had Stansfield done but again there was a change of heart at the last. Due to this we went for Burstow. He turned out to be no where near good enough. So 4 signed. 2 back up and 2 for the 1st team. Not all transfers work out. Agreed?
Those are my opinions. Does that answer you? If not any further I haven't addresses ask them again.
I'm all for that mate
