Who?Unfortunately for the likes of Speakman, there has already been recent form on waiting for their alleged preferred candidate only for a deal to "fall through" at the last minute.

Bellingham up front againTo be honest mate, even if Clarke stays, the way we look at the moment we will be hovering above relegation all season.
We can’t rely on Clarke to be scoring twenty plus goals with minimal contribution from anywhere else.
We wouldn’t pay £3 - £4 mill for anyone !!!! Thats the problem with KLD & SpeakmanWe are not going to pay £3 to 4 million for a 30 year old
Absolute state of that kid from Chelsea last season man where we did exactly this
An absolute disgrace from those in charge and laughing at the supporters
Cough up and shut up spouting the crap
Buy the players that will see us compete where we should be and that’s for promotion
Even if he is, what do you reckon ? 10 - 12 from him ?Bellingham up front again![]()
I'd be amazed if he cost thar muchWe are not going to pay £3 to 4 million for a 30 year old
Seems a long time ago since the owner apologised and said lessons have been learnedThink it's clear that promotion isn't at the top of this boards agenda. They'll knock a few sales out each season, buy some cheap inexperienced kids in and roll the dice again.
I've not seen anything concrete to suggest the club is aiming for promotion. There's been one signing so far that goes straight into the first team from the squad that finished 16th last season and Browne was (conveniently) on a free.
2 seasons? You said last 2 seasons
Even with Clarke we were in relegation form most of last season. It nearly caught up with us last season, if Clarke goes and the money isn't reinvested in quality I honestly think we are right in the shit.
Exactly. And what do we do today ? Sign another 18 year old foreign kid to go into the U21’s. It’s a fuckin disgrace !Think it's clear that promotion isn't at the top of this boards agenda. They'll knock a few sales out each season, buy some cheap inexperienced kids in and roll the dice again.

I think he'd do well to get double figuresEven if he is, what do you reckon ? 10 - 12 from him ?
Hmmm - starting to wonder who you were previously on here. Suspect you're from OTR on here to disruptSigned 4 last summer
The owner of the club said he’s valued at £5 million euros but might have to take a little bit lessI'd be amazed if he cost thar much
You are wasting your time with that one mate. The biggest wum and happy clapping clown on the board.Eh?
The failure to bring in what was required in the last 3/4 windows, has seen fears realised.
Last season was a result of a complete lack of the fabled forward planning. Things went from bad to worse, and we ended up being lucky games ran out.
As a result of this lack in planning we now find ourselves 2 weeks away from starting the season in exactly the same position.
Concerns have been well and truly realised, and given the evidence of the previous windows, people are rightly concerned it’s not been addressed because it’s following the same pattern.
I’ll say again, it’s not just people being negative, as the concerns raised inevitably lead to a shit show, which currently does not look like being resolved.
The only hope really is that we still haven't seen how we react to bringing in a decent fee for a player.Think it's clear that promotion isn't at the top of this boards agenda. They'll knock a few sales out each season, buy some cheap inexperienced kids in and roll the dice again.

We have learnt nothing.Seems a long time ago since the owner apologised and said lessons have been learned![]()
You said since promotion back to this league you've been worried.Eh?

He said it cos he failed to sign one and yes then the hipsters jumped on it and lapped it up. Before that he said dajaku or whatever he’s called was a forward as well. LIESsigh...its a completely ordothox view among the tredy football hipsters now..
they are wrong..but its an orthodox view..chelsea didnt play with one for a while for example..and they are trying to be a trnedy club..
i prefer my clubs to be successful..
saf signed forwards galore..but not a no 9
