Alexandre Mendy (transfer rumour)

Not sure if 21 counts or not. If it does I think we have, oddly enough, 21 players that are 21 or older. A few will probably depart though, Anderson, Embleton and Matete for starters I suspect.

It’s gross incompetence from Speakman and those running the Club.

32,000 season ticket sales and 100,000 shirts sales and not 1 competent striker two weeks before the start of the season with few pre season games left to bed anyone in.

They should be fcking embarrassed. The new HC is on a hiding to nothing.

The family were linked with a purchase a few months ago but as recently as a couple of weeks ago it was reported that talks were at an advanced stage between the family and the club.

There was also speculation that representatives of the family wanted to speak with Mendy before any deal was rubber stamped for him to leave.

Of course if the player remains determined to leave it will just be a matter of time before he turns up at the AOL …….providing of course we’re still interested!
 
Just had a text, pal says a lad who he thinks is Mendy’s brother was just talking over Game Chat on the online gaming site “Dudley Do-Game” and said that Mendy could possibly join.

If that stops him coming I’m going to start thinking we’re destined never to sign another striker again.

Such a bizarre thing to put the mockers on a move that looked all set to go ahead !
