We weren't in the position we are now where literally all we need is a CF really. Also, some links to strikers have been prominent this window, it's not as if we aren't trying right now

You think that all we now need is a centre forward ? Have you actually been watching us at all ?

I'd say a CF or two, DM and maybe a CB. What else do we need?
 
I'm wondering if the situation at Bordeaux has made us turn our attention to Vipotnik. We were involved in discussions last summer before he chose to go there so there's definite interest. I wonder if KLD/Speakman have looked at £2m+ deal for mendy plus wages for a 30 year old and decided its probably better spent offering Vipotnik a bigger signing on fee and wages. Similar outlay overall but youre getting a 22 year older international with high resale potential.

Any deal for him would take longer you'd think given he won't be short of offers, but we've got history of pulling the plug on deals if a better option comes available.

Based only on his highlight reel this lad looks more like a striker than a centre forward if you catch my drift. I wonder what we're actually looking for? Maybe one of each type?
