And Maja has struggled in the EFL Championship for goals, that said maja was just an out an goal scorer where as Mendys main strength may be other parts of centre forward play ie, running channels, hold up play, physicality etc
 
Saudis probably offering more than we are. Player doesnt want to go to Saudi. Caen looking to squeeze as much out of us as they can or he stays there.

I’ll always remember Stewart Donald on STID asking about Marquis and they said 10m and he replied “tell them 1m and that’s the best we’ve got”

Totally agree with everyone’s doubt but every now and again you have a Vardy type signing. Scored all the way from the lower leagues to the PL

Where is Maja now, like most players who leave Safc the only way is down (Ally McCoist did ok to be fair ;) )

20 goals a season? Beaudiful. I used to have a striker like that. Ran off to Honolulu with my first wife. She says the kids call him papa, I say 800 grand in traveler’s cheques, final offer.

It's always harder to adapt as a technical player like Maja than a physical one like Mendy. He'll be strong and direct no matter what league he goes too, Maja might not have the quaity to adapt to the championship
