How odd, seemed like a sure thing before.

And yes. 22/23 having a striker would have been enough to put us into the premier league (likely to come right back down again quite diasterously).
Last year though I can't see us even seriously staying in the playoff fight.

We didn’t have the Mil to spend and we had obviously written last year off. Save the money, spend it this year when we have a better chance

You’re complaining that this is taking too long for Mendy and that we’ll miss out. We won’t

You might disagree but I would much rather see us get the best possible deal for a player that we won’t miss out on rather than just give what Evers being asked so we can say we got him through the door a week earlier

Transfers are always a gamble. Nothing is ever guaranteed

Going into Christmas we were still close to the play off places . Getting Moore on loan would have given us a boost. We gave up

He scored 1 goal in his last 9 games for Ipswich, you reckon that would have sent us to the play offs?

He scored more than our strikers combined.
He also can actually hold the ball up.bringing others into play.
He has signed for Sheff utd .
Willing to bet he will score more than any of our strikers this seasons

Jobe played upfront a lot and scored the same as him mind, so that's wrong.

If you want to play hoof ball and hold the ball up he's your man, that's not what the cluba are after. We want a mobile striker who is dynamic, can link p play and get in positions to score, so the complete opposite of Moore basically
