It's a no from me. We've signed too many last 3 windows who haven't improved the squad.
This window has so far been slow but the 2 we have signed have been upgrades & if we sign Mendy he will be too. That has given me hope that we'll get it right this time & not go quantity over quality. If we can get a better player than Roberts then fair enough but at best this lad is on a par. I'd rather give opportunities to the likes of Ba, Mundle & Watson & make improvements to the squad elsewhere like cf & cb.
I was actually looking forward to seeing what Le Bris can do with Ba. There were signs under Mowbray that he might push on last season but he was handled terribly under Beale & Dodds.

I really don’t get all the negativity around Robert’s. He really is a top class footballer. He needs to be first choice and playing all of the time to get the best out of him. He has more talent in his little toe than most players can dream of. He struggled a bit last year but he was not first choice, had some injury niggles and playing under several buffoons after the departure of Tony….. he will be good again.
My guess is hallucinogenic drugs.
Go on then , explain how you think Roberts is worth anywhere near that much
