Hemir

Relate this tale every time Jones comes up on the forum:-
I was once in the lift at the Prince Bishop’s car park in Durham when a hand appeared between the closing doors, and who got in none other than Kenwyne Jones, I felt obliged to speak, alright Kenwyne, how ya doing, it’s a bit cold isn’t it he replied, “you should try running around a bit more” I said in reply, end of conversation 🤷‍♂️
I’d probably avoid telling that story if I was you mind. Unless the aim is to make people aware you’re a bit of a knacker.

He was superb, an absolute beast. Sadly I think that injury took a bit out of him, he couldn't seem to get about the pitch as well. Still awesome though, doesn't get enough credit
what it robbed him of was the strength to be able to make a back for defenders . Pre injury he would literally have one ( or two) hanging off his back and still play, post injury he was buckling . Defenders weren't as physically intimidated by him .

Hemir had an alright pre-season last summer, but failed to kick on.

He's a big, strong lad with some ability. Hopefully, RLB can find a way to get him playing with a bit of fire in his belly. If not, then he probably needs to go back out on loan to a League One/Two side where he'll get game time.

In his defence, he did ok in pre-season. Was hauled off 45 minutes into his first league game, the manager publicly slated him. Then started a bloke who could barely walk upfront ahead of him. It’s no real surprise the lad was short on confidence.
Moving to a new country at his age to be treat the way he was my Mowbray was extremely poor.

Always wondered why Hemir was so quickly slated and dropped, yet Burstow got so much time and opportunity to make an impact with barely any backlash from Tony.
