No.
The one who engineered the second worst form for half a season only surpassed in crapness by relegated Rotherham.
The one who gave up on half a season and survived relegation only by an already dismissed former manager's points haul.
The one who has refused to sign a striker since Ross Stewart was sold over two years ago.

That one.
Stewart was sold LESS then a year ago.

Get your knickers untwisted and just be patient you miserable sod.

Yes indeed that’s the one,

At least the pre-season is a relatively short trip to Spain and not a series of tough flights across a decent chunk of the US, with all the tiredness and rests that went with it last year, which actually got in the way of preparing the squad.
Last summer was a complete mess tbh. From start to finish. The travelling, the quality of opposition and the transfer window as a whole.

This summer at least looks to be going a bit better.

That hasn't happened though. What has happened is probably worse. We've spent a lot of time and effort getting 4 in who have proved to not be good enough or ready.

Indeed. and look at how successful he was.. speakman's master stroke, if only we still signed goalscorers like this one.
The transfer market has been very quiet so far, I wouldn’t worry about it yet.
i wouldn't say i was worried, however, I would say it's looking like a pattern at the moment, and to be honest, I am wondering when the new head coach is going to get his own assistant alongside of him that he wants, and maybe fill out the coaching staff, so far two players signed, how much of a say has he had on that. etc

Not to mention opening a bank account and locating the nearest Sainsbury's. Need to get themselves affiliated with the local club anarl, pay their subs. It might already be too late ffs.
Surely the club get all that and more sorted for them in advance. Can’t be having our lads paying £4.50 for a box of Weeto’s just because nee f***er sorted them a Tesco clubcard.

Speakman knows better than all of us.
(at least he thinks so)
How anyone can defend his inactivity and/or bizarre attempts at filling the position on the cheap is far beyond my comprehension
Do you genuinely think he'd rather not have a £Xm striker signed and playing for us?

The OP has a point but those in charge are trying their best. We will start with Hemir or Mayenda I would guess but it would be nice to not throw points away and start the season right up there
