Agree, that Pep and Klopp are special managers.
But, there are several exciting youngish English players who were largely ignored by Southgate e.g. Watkins, Wharton, Bowen, Konsa.
A more attacking manager would get much more out of this current squad.
At times yesterday, England had a back 5 (with the 2 wing backs) and 2 defensive midfielders in Rice & Mainoo.
How can a team reach their full potential with only 3 attacking players ?

Who would you have dropped to accommodate Bowen and Konsa?
 
Not saying this is who I want but people are missing the possibility of it being Lee Carsley, especially if you look at how Southgate got the job, and then the Spanish fella who lifted the trophy yesterday.
 
Klopp would be the perfect choice but doubt he’d take it, of the English managers it’s gotta be potter or Howe but I doubt either will come cheap either, potter has the wages from Chelsea still rolling in and Howe will be under contract so may well be big bucks buying that out

Will he bollocks win anything with them, top top players will always go to the Manchester and London clubs before them, they'll only get mercenaries. The Saudis are getting itchy feet already

It's OK, I disliked him before he managed the mags, hes got a Christian Horner vibe about him. Nasty piece of work.

Howe is absolute shite with the press as we've seen whenever he's asked about the Saudis .
Potter blew his audition with the big ego players at Chelsea : he's one for bringing on scrappy unknowns who haven't yet made it and need little motivation.

It should be someone who's had success in the Premier League

Don't hate him but don't respect him following "I am not educated enough to answer that....".

I used to call him lucky and he had loads of luck in keeping them up with everything going for him but to then get top four was pretty incredible.

In an ideal world Howe gets the job and they appoint Moyes. The owner decides to sell also and they spiral down to L1.
