Regis Le Bris - Backroom Staff

Tony Loughlin?

Didnt he go with him to Ipswich and work for Burnley?
Yeah. Was at Watford and 9 years at Burnley as assistant to Dyche after he left Ipswich.

reggie le bris...he has the final say on who comes in and is interviewing people now..

I believe it is a little different to what people think.
He won’t get the choice of who he wants like other managers do.
He is given a selection of A, B or C and after interviewing them he gets the final choice.
But he has no say in who is A, B, or C.
I understand the club ruled out his previous coaches as they are currently under contract and they believe there are plenty available who aren’t. They WON’T pay any further compensation for staff.

How can anyone say Dodds is a good coach he was in charge and he’s record isn’t that good should be put in the academy with proctor

he didnt have any previous coahces in the sense he didnt p[ick them..ie the people he chooses next time will be the first coaches he has ever picked

No guessing about it. It is crystal clear that Dodds is KS’s blue eyed boy.

Mowbray - overall did quite well - sacked
Beale - didn’t do good at all - sacked
Dodds - by far the worst of them all - still here.

I am ok with Dodds remaining as a coach but if he remains as Assistant Manager after the way the club were rapidly heading back to Division One under his leadership, then we are going into the season without fixing the problems of last season.
Why would we sack a coach, who we rate, because when he helped us out with the head coach role he was shite?

Dodds was an interim head coach who was never going to be given it permanently..it's not difficult to understand

Speakman was desperate to give the job to Dodds on a full time basis. Not even he, with his ego and his friendship could even do that after the run he went on after taking over from Beale. We even had Dodds saying he would like to be manager one day to sew the seed. The pair of them and English are thick as thieves and a Head Coach who isnt "on side" to them weakens their stranglehold. We even have Stuart English on the interviewing panel - well he would agree with Speakman if he told him today was Wednesday.

As we saw with Mowbray, who was very popular, fans took his side when questioning the lack of striker, replacement for Evans & in America the open criticism of no experience being brought in. Speakman needs to be number 1. He needs to be the one praised when going well and he needs to be immune from criticism. He needs eyes and ears in the dressing room to report back to him. This is why Beale wasnt allowed his number 2 and why RLB hasnt been allowed to bring anyone in as yet. If rumours from within AoL are to be believed Speakman & English are shortlisting and RLB can appoint who he wants from that list.

Sooner Speakman is peddled the better and then let people earn jobs on their skillset rather than who their friends friends football friends are.

For far too long managers have had the power here. That's on of the many reasons why we plummeted down the leagues. The constant churn on players signed by the manager and not fancied by the new manager. So no I don't agree with your rant. Speakman should hold the power here

A lot of made up stuff and opinion stated as fact.

It’s hilarious

A competent DoF should hold the power. I am not against the role I am just against the person who is employed to do it. Just like I thought Davison should be peddled. The role of CEO should exist just not with him in it. Thankfully hes gone. Unlike Speakman he is actually a good bloke.

After the debacle against Donny & Cheltenham there is no way Dodds would have been given the Head Coach role again unless he was Speakmans mate. After the wins vs WBA & Leeds he told us he had learned and things were different this time. He reverted to type in his 3rd time in the role. Completely out of his depth.

The club is night and day since Speakman came in. He's shown he's competent at the very least

He's made mistakes and will continue to do so however you're looking at it with tunnel vision. Yes the last year has been disappointing regards the 1st team but before that we had 2 seasons of improvement and a huge upturn in the quality of players at the club. Then you look beyond that and the academy is excellent shape and we're keeping our best young players now. The footballing side of the club is massively improved since he arrived here.
