Of course he was. He’d managed umpteen clubs to their boards satisfaction previously. Reduced wage bills, increased crowds, reduced average team age, avoided relegations, got promoted etc etc. But I think most on here wadve heard of him cos he was from Ryhope.

Don't apologies to him I quoted him your below post. He's been saying that RlB is a panic appointment and only came on the radar out of desperation, which as you've pointed out, is not the case. Another one who likes to post speculation as fact.

I'm happy enough to give him time but I also think this is last chance ranch for KLD and Speakman! If it goes tits up badly then he will probably jump ship and sell up! But I'm hoping we absolutely smash it and go back up winning the league 12 points clear!!

It’s not “conspiracy” to point out the obvious link with this agency though. As long as it also benefits the club then brilliant, utilise it. It’s only an issue of the relationship forces it all to be too narrow in recruitment. I’ll give KLD the benefit here but it’s clearly his call not Speakman’s. Which might be for the best after Beale ;)

It sort of is the point though. Complaints about us appointing a mystery gaffer via a linked agency would far outweigh those if we’d appointed a name gaffer by the same agency. Some people just love to whinge and I know I’m one of em…….especially about SAFC. No doubt I’ll be back in full whinge mode by Xmas.
 
Amazing that people have different opinions and can be accused of being wrong. It's the basis of a forum and it would be a much better place if people could have spirited debate without the insults.

It's a ridiculous comparison though. Pep and Klopp haven't just been relegated after finishing the season in worse form than us and have done just a bit more than le Bris has.
