Nah, appointing Beale was the issue. If we’d sacked Mowbray and gone straight for Le Bris and said “this is our man”, the fans would have generally accepted it

I agree, but I think the time taken after Beale left has understandably made people nervous. They’ve made it look like they had no control or real succession planning. Then you combine it with rumours of coaches turning us down and people go mental. Hopefully it has been worth the wait.
