Regis le Bris - confirmed

He’s just been relegated with Lorient, what top league is he employed in? There’s a good chance he’s going to get sacked, hence he’ll come in on the cheap.
the only league he has ever been employed in is the french top flight..
so will still..who actually got saxked from the same league would also have been cheap?

Get some decent signings in and it will go a long way to getting some of the fans back on side. Proven goalscorer for a start and keeping our best players if possible.
As long as this fella is halfway competent, using the Clarke money and hopefully selling people like Roberts for a few quid, buying a recognised striker and DM will go a long way. We’re not going to get promoted next season no matter who comes in. Finishing 10th-8th with good football would be a good season.

Eventually decided to google him as feeling he is the only one left in the world who hasn't knocked us back( nah lad we been chasing him for ower 100 days ya micket).

Looks ower french to me like. I'm out.

Biggest club outside the premier league with 32,000 season ticket holders and that’s the limit of your ambition?

As it stands we are in a relegation battle.

Can only hope he does well for us and gets them playing well, I'm not happy with him coming right now though, just trying to cling on to anything positive. He might surprise us all but I think he will be under pressure from the start if we don't do well.

After all this time, no matter how you dress it up, this would be an absolute garbage appointment. Not in the Beale category of course, but as dull and boring as we feared.
Based on what thought? Nobody knows anything about the man to pass judgement other than he has a relegation on his CV which many of the best managers around do.

I personally know nowt about the bloke so can’t and won’t pass comment on whether it is a good or bad appointment

Well he’s currently employed at club in Ligue 2 now, so that’s a load of shite. Secondly, Will Still didn’t get relegated with his last club, so maybe he has scope to get another job in Ligue 1.

I'm not necessarily saying he will do good or bad mate, don't know that yet. I just mean that the appointment in itself is garbage. It's very uninspiring, a lot of people will be deflated. We're back to just hoping now, which rarely works out for us.
