Frank Lampard - manager rumours

I'm not in any way claiming to be ITK, despite my background in the media, but I was at a former players' event on Tuesday when a member of our 1973 squad got a message - from a contact in Italy - saying that Lampard was set to be announced.
So that is why you didnt mention it at all on here until Friday after some Lampard related content was broken by someone else!

Lampard & Cifuentes.

Is there anything “solid” linking us to either of them? Or is it just word of mouth on here/socials?

That's all its been all summer though and people taking it as gospel, people turned us down etc. One thing that is certain, club have kept it close to their chest.

That would work, if his odds hadn't dropped significantly before it went viral. There have been plenty of silly rumours like the one we saw this morning, with screenshots etc, that haven't caused the odds to drop much, if at all.

I'm just struggling to see how he went from 6-8/1 to pretty much evens when it was only being discussed on this forum at the time. Therfore, it sounds more likely to be your b) example.
They drop because of money going on . It takes hardly anything to move a next manager market. If you want an example years ago there was someone I fancied for the Sunderland job who wasn’t in the betting. I asked them to add him and they did so at about 10/1 from memory

Warmed to the idea of him tbf (which like Rosenior probably means it isn’t going to happen!).

Obviously the jury is out after he was pretty shit at Everton (I won’t judge his 2nd spell at Chelsea as they’re a basket case); but if he can get the young players going like he did at Derby and Chelsea (first time), then he might not be such a bad appointment.
I believe even his first spell at Chelsea he wasn’t on speaking terms with some of the players when he left, so his man management is not the best
