Frank Lampard - manager rumours

This club man 😂

Nailed on to say he was always first choice, despite the fact he was available long before we hired Beale

Got to the point where I'm actively convincing myself that he would be a better choice than some of the others purely because being without a manager has gone beyond a joke
I'm starting to feel the same way, getting tired of the whole thing now. Maybe that was the plan all along, wear us down and we accept anybody.

His second time as chelsea manager doesnt sound great according to wiki:

Chelsea's form dropped after Lampard took over and produced a first bottom-half finish since 1996 and a record low tally of points and goals scored in the Premier League era. In terms of winning percentage, Lampard also had the worst record (9%) among every who had led 3 or more matches, achieving just one win in his 11 matches in charge

🧐

When Steven Bartlett interviewed him on his podcast, he talked about his second stint. He described how over 20 players who were not in the squad caused problems for everyone, how none of the senior players cared, and he should never have gone back. I think he learned from that experience.

Personally, I'm not convinced by him, but he'd certainly raise our profile.
