Keel Crossing [opened 18.10.25] - compendium thread

Hugely disappointing in what way? I don’t think it will actually be the existing units that will be left as that will not work for the road lay out and housing etc. I’ve just seen the overlayed map, these defo aren’t the existing - this will probably be the facility for the community heating system, using the water from monkwearmouth colliery as a heat source.
thats going up next to the hicsa

That's further over where the bridge to the wheatsheaf is. It would be canny if it was shops and maybe another food place/bar/cafe, but it would be massively disappointing if it remained what it is now
It would be disappointing if it staid as is, but I really don’t think it will.

East or West of HICSA? if west, this the building we are talking about.

east where bar 73 is
Hhhmmm ok. Surprised it’s not on the plan then.
The more I think about it ,the less likely I think it will remain the same. I think maybe a shop ,cafe etc to serve the new houses.
That would be classed as commercial though. Hhhhmmm I do wonder what it is then. Other than the stables the only other commercial space is by the car park on the east of the development.

Yeah you are right. That's why I had the horrible feeling they are gonna be left as they are. Hope not

If they’re grey something has happened as they were purple about a week ago! (Unless I’m losing the plot!)
yeah I noticed that and was looking for any movement on the site on the video but guess that was filmed on Sunday @RestlessNatives ?
Looking at those pictures, there is absolutely nothing on that plot of land. It should be miles further on. Dunno what's happening
the council are delivering the project in house now arent they? dunno when tho
