Liam Rosenior

Personally. Don’t know who the hell Rosenior thinks he is. Apparently now rejected us and Birmingham. His biggest achievement finishing 7th in the Championship with Hull then getting sacked. FFS, thinks he’s Guardiola.
And Plymouth apparently. Fair enough if he thinks he can do better and he might well be able to.

Is ‘our Michael’ doing so well at Boro? Bottled the play offs one year then other than a late run last season flattered to deceive.
Nice guy but is he improving his team?
Oh yes OUR Michael is doing really well imo.
He came in when we were in 21st position and guided us to 4th, transforming Akpom into the leagues top scorer and player of the year.
We no more 'bottled' the play offs than Sunderland did - weren't you leading after the first leg against Luton?
We lost to the better side over two legs (as did you) - it happens.

'Late run' or not, we finished 8th last season on merit (4 points off the play offs), despite having horrendous injuries throughout the whole season, and losing half our team last summer (hence the 'slow' start).

So, all in all I reckon we've got an absolute gem in OUR Michael.

We have a similar recruitment policy to yourselves, a 'director of football' signs the players - but my understanding is that MC has a say in it also.

Can’t argue with that , sadly .

Clever , Boro Twat.

Depends what he turned us down for really, if he has turned us down. Could be as simple as thinking the set up here doesn't work for him and in which case he'd be saving us and himself some grief in the long run.

Doubt he thinks he's too good for a club of this stature but more likely just think it'd work here under the set up.

Ye of little faith.

Trust the process.

Trust the data.

Trust the leadership.

How anyone can be questioning anything after the numerous superb examples of effective recruitment, robust succession planning, key investment and top notch communication baffles me.

Tough crowd you lot.

I'm off to have my brekkie and do my morning happy 👏 👏 👏.

Some people are just so critical and are constantly looking to find fault wherever they can.

KLD, Speaks and the boys are on it. Chill out lads 'n' lasses. We are in safe hands.
Is this the sequel to 1984?

So if Rosenior doesn’t get the Burnley job and we haven’t sorted it by then will he gladly come back and sign with us ?
Big indicator that we are a mess.
I'm really struggling over the KLD "Imminent" statement last week. Surely he is not stupid enough to release such a statement unless it’s 99.9% done. He surely would not have released that and only then invited Rosenior in for a second interview. It just makes no sense. There has to be someone else in the frame that the press haven't picked up on. It would be a PR disaster to make a "learned from mistakes of the past" comment and then appoint another duff manager.

I suspect a lot of what we are being fed is agents wanting to hock their assets in the press, using us as leverage for speeding up an appointment or negotiating a fatter offer.

I suspect KLD could be as thick as mince, but surely his advisers would not be.

It’s just bloody bizarre.
Lad needs a parental lock on his phone. Hasn’t learned from his doubling down statement Re. BCB.
