It's starting to feel like we are scouting the right names for the head coach role but we are just not prepared to commit enough funds when we discuss terms.

Similar to our striker search, we've scouted some really good strikers but they've all gone elsewhere.

I really hope so. If I had to guess though he's probably just on holiday before joining up with their first team for pre season.
Aye, you're most probably right, but it was nice to cling on to some hope in all this madness. 🫣

We can only hope that good news will come soon.

To say this search has been farcical would be being kind...words fail me regarding the level of ineptitude....especially given the 'imminent' statement from KLD....!!!

We brought in strikers with the right attributes but they didn’t score. I’d say the fact we finished 16th was more about the injuries to key players over a lot of other things.

The guy from Hull is probably hoping to get the Burnley job. Burnley who will be favourites for promotion. We just finished 16th. We were in league one two years ago.
All the strikers were shit mate - being good at football is normally pretty high on the list of 'right attributes'

This is now absolute confirmation that the owner and his senior management team are completely out of their depth. I have been critical and been criticised for apparently being always too negative. Negative doesn’t come into it, it’s genuine concern as to the direction where we are going.

The DOF said we’re plodding along, where not it’s worse than that. The word is out in the game that despite the size and potential of SAFC this is not the place to come. We are a basket case of a club, I said on a post on this thread earlier today the problem is those that are being interviewed simply do not want to work under this regime and by god they don’t. The plan that is a fkg embarrassment in so much that the owner who is completely out of his depth cannot see its flaws and a DOF who amongst several other things believed Mike Beale was a better option to take us to the next level than Tony Mowbray.

What an absolute shambles we are, we are becoming a laughing stock within the game.

Arguably the biggest club in the Championship and we have at least FOUR unemployed people walking away from us.
