I think we will end up happy with the manager who signs up. I don’t have a problem with any of KLD or Speakman yet. If you look at the value of our current squad. We are obviously heading in the correct directions
We’ve just finished 16th mate and the bloke Hull sacked doesn’t even want to speak to us again - along with all of the other blokes who are toes telly on the dole since February.

The only thing I can add to this now is that there is certainly something afoot.

It’s pretty clear that a number of candidates have spoken to the club now, many of them more than once in a formal capacity.

Something is putting these guys off and I worry for anyone who does take/accept the job because I worry they’d be doing it in such a confined and restrictive structure that it just adds a further unnecessary challenge.

Lost me at “guys”

They sacrificed the season in Jan by not signing a striker yet again, then just called time on the season when they sacked Beale.

To the point were we were fortunate enough to have enough points in the board as we dropped like a stone.

This sacrifice was to start the process for this season and we’re pushing four months without a gaffer. And resorting to interviewing people who only got sacked at the end of the year.

It makes what they’ve said publicslly, particularly speak man, ridiculed with contradictions.

We brought in strikers with the right attributes but they didn’t score. I’d say the fact we finished 16th was more about the injuries to key players over a lot of other things.

The guy from Hull is probably hoping to get the Burnley job. Burnley who will be favourites for promotion. We just finished 16th. We were in league one two years ago.

Exactly. Seriously, what would be putting so many out of work people off where many have said, if you get it right here, you’ll be loved for ever.
Everything is in place - the fans, the facilities, even a good few of the players. Sadly, it’s those in the boardroom who are having the effect

Other than Jobe our transfer business for the last 18 months has been dreadful
