No longer accepted in the management speak corridors of the AOL mate, those loud segs will disturb the data analysis…..plus how would the secretaries get any work done, they’ll be drooling
 
With the sole aim of ending this imbroglio I'm tempted ter hoy me arn cap in the ring fer this gig.

A slight impediment to my suitability is that I'm utterly shite. That said, I think I can dee a better job than Dodds.

A bigger impediment is I'm thinking of running as prime minister too. I'm similarly qualified fer that role & similarly confident in my ability to do a better job than Sunak.

Decisions, decisions....

Don’t think it has been reported specifically but he was getting named on Friday and it was ramping up with others being discounted in the press, then KLD got giddy and released a statement saying the process was finishing, then day after is reported no Jansen, then day after it’s reported we are back to interview/talks stage but now with someone who was available a month ago.

Say the club did have ten in the running, say after talking to them they knew half of them wouldn't be a good fit and decided to take it no further, say they decided to do further interviews with a few and that's what's been happening.

Not that I necessarily agree with countless rounds of interviews for any job, but it's likely if they have a lot of strong candidates for the job they'll want to talk to them. It's clear we're keener for them to make an appointment quickly than they are themselves.

I think there's enough reports around what happened with Still to get an idea we put our eggs in one basket there, anything else I'd take with a bucket of salt.

Ideally they want to make an appointment that is going to inspire the fans but this is looking extremely unlikely now. Any Head Coach with any sort of ambition is going to want to hold some clout and I don't think we're prepared to deviate from the core principles that have Speakman and Dodds in prominent roles. Sadly the type of candidate that we would all want won't want to work with their hands tied.
Whoever we appoint now, whether that's Rosenior or someone else they're going to divide opinion and know that they aren't really wanted by board or fans.
It all comes down to ambition and we appear to be settling for mediocrity.

Which is why at this point I'm hoping it is Rosenior. If he turns us down the alternatives are suddenly looking very grim indeed.

See, I'm so out of touch. Moreover, I'd be creating slipping hazards arl owa the shop. Segs & rugs & rock & drool might well be all a brain & body needs, but the liability insurers would have a fit....

Well you're not trying to turn assumptions into facts there to be fair, but they are still your assumptions ?
