Liam Rosenior

I don’t think he will be to be honest. He’s not at all like Beale, not even close….that one was an obvious disaster.

Most of our support will give LR a fair shot at it if it is him, it’s just the usual idiots on here going over the top about it.
I wish I shared your optimism mate. Lose 3 on the bounce and they'll be calling for his head.

Maric would be welcomed more tbf and he's done sweet fa
I think the criticism of Rosenior is way over the top
Thats a fair point. It’s not Rosenior per se for me and I think it will be the same for a lot. It’s the fact we’ve apparently been proactively looking for a manger since February to end up with a bloke who was sacked in May.
It points to real incompetence.

We clearly haven't got our top targets and thats frustrating and I think that frustration in some is making the criticism of Rosenior very very harsh.

I'm on the fence about him but there's no way he's as bad as some on here are making out.

I think that’s probably true of anyone we could appoint….unless the football is good and there are signs of progress.
If they had acted decisively and got one of their top targets in early there would be a little more patience. The length of time taken has already negativly impacted on the fans who are already disillusioned and frustrated before a ball has been kicked. Hence why I'm hoping he gets off to a good start. We really don't want to be playing catch up early doors.

Where's this over the top criticism?

The only real negative I can see towards Rosenior himself is people worried about his preferred playing style. Something you've said yourself.

The main criticism is towards the club hierarchy, not Rosenior. And that is fully deserved IMO.

Oh there’s no doubt we’ve worked our way down the list, either we didn’t like them or some are being put off by budget and set up. Like you say I don’t think he’d have even been on this mythical plan/list we have it just happens he got the boot and we’ve missed out or moved on from the others.

It's here, you won't have to search hard.

People do this all the time any slight worry or concern always turns into demanding fans or we’ve not given him a chance etc. just mostly people posting about the way this situation has been handled not roseenior himself apart from precived playin style from his ex chairman.

Again, I think a lot of that is online hysteria. Some people are on here getting themselves worked up every day because they expected an announcement as soon as the last ball was kicked. Most people aren’t, and recognize it’s is still the close season.

It’s hardly the majority though mate, most just worried about his style of play and how he will have to hit the ground running. I think that would go for most managers we’ve let this fucker drag on so long it’s piling pressure on anyone that takes the job. The club really don’t know how to help themselves the past 10 months or so. I’ve said I warmed to the idea of him a few weeks back, he carried Rooney and seems to have a lot of fans in the game. He’s always spoke well of us etc hope they give him the tools he needs or we will be back here again around Xmas.
