Tend to find the people who get most narked by it are the ones who don’t like evidence to suggest what they say could be incorrect though tbf.

No idea where the full picture thing has come from, mind. Just backs up what the owner has said regarding style/reason for sacking. Ie not really creating much.

Almost doubled the wage bill in that time as well and was spunking 131% of turnover on wages which should help give a bigger picture than consistently poor measure of chance creation.

Was quite shit or bust time for them really though not sure who’s leaving in the summer to bring that down.

Tell me you're making this up Rocky lad. I'm currently listening to Five Live where they're talking about his Wales team drawing to Gibraltar, losing 4-0 to Slovakia and being the worst team at the last World Cup. :lol:

It’s one helpful bit of data, it doesn’t prove nearly as much as some would like it to. There are a multitude of reasons and lots of context to teams create a lot/a little in any given game, XG just boils it all down to numbers and people who didn’t watch the games latch in to it.
 
Keep seeing people banging on about him finishing 7th. The season before last we were 45 mins away from finishing in exactly the same position until Millwall capitulated at home with arguably a more talented squad then Hull had last season! Yet Mowbray is a messiah for getting us there! We had 1 point more than Rosenior got Hull last season and had to deal with injury crisis. He would be a solid appointment and the last one for me that is remotely acceptable!
