Liam Rosenior

Some seem to think he failed as should have got Hull in play offs. Personally I'm not sure if that's failure, as top 4 were well clear of everyone and do they have better players than WBA and Norwich who are always in and around that top 6? I don't get the negativity about him tbh, certainly not the level of it anyway. We could do alot worse imo. I don't see a huge difference in getting him over Still for eg based on what we need.
I’m guessing that he got peddled for playing boring football might have something to do with it mind. For those that were against still or any of the other “untried” lot he’s not done a whole lot in his career so far has he.

Can't understand why we keep going for out of work uk managers, when trying to implement a more European way of recruitment and set up. Each time the manager has fallen out with the board as they just don't match. English coaches and managers expect to have a lot more control than the approach we are trying to pursue allows. Doesn't seem a clear plan at all. We keep talking about the way Brighton do it, but they always have a manager in mind with a similar philosophy in playing and coaching approach. We are just scatter gun to whoever is near and will except the job
Mate people are sick and tired of these young up and coming European coaches, even though we have never appointed one.

If its him so be it but it scares the shit out of me to think we have a panel of 7 who are selecting the manager and there wont be an ounce of competence between the 7 of them. Why the fook you need 7 people to go through out of work cheap managers stinks of speakshite trying to be clever and complicating the issue. No disrespect to rosenior but any manager worth their salt if sitting down to a panel of 7 nomarks would tell em to go get Ferked.
As much as everyone seems to dislike Speakman do you think KLD has absolutely no involvement or input in all of this? If Nixon is the only person talking about a panel of 7 I reckon it's bullshit and it also doesn't suggest those people are running the interview.

When Rosenior was sacked by Hull so were both of his assistants, presumably they will be joining him at safc or other/s of his choosing? If not and that blockhead Dodds is keeping his role as AHC then it will almost certainly be another disaster. LR will be binned before the season is done whilst them two untouchables carry on unscathed.
I’m probably more worried about that possibility than who we actually get. Imagine knowing that we’re always just a few bad results away from having Dodds back in charge. Shudder.

Tbh i agree, this 7 panel thing has got to be bullshit. As for KLD, my opinion is he's as clueless as speakshite but has a bloke who is quite happy to go along with his model. Its called arrogance.

Almost as bad as the Beale debacle. Months without a manager and this is what they come up with. Incompetent is an understatement.
Worst of a shit trilogy.

The Mowbray Dismissal.
The Beale Debacle.
The Still Ultimatum.

Soon to be followed by the Rosenior Barrel Scraping.

As a positive slant on Rosenior, I truly believe that if he had done what he’s done in a foreign league, folk would be welcoming him.

Hull were 21st when he took over; they finished 7th. They also didn’t have a striker.

Last season was his first full season as a boss. He’s credited with the good work Rooney had done at Derby and did a good job with them. His style may not be perfect but he’s young enough to adapt that.

Does he get the heart racing? No. Is he the safest appointment out there atm? Yes. I think he could be excellent.
I don’t think he would have been on a list before purely because he was seemingly safe in a job had just been nominated for manager of the year.

Let's hope he says yes
God knows where we go next if Rosenior says no thanks.
