Liam Rosenior

If it were just one we couldn't get you'd understand but we've spoken to multiple options. It's clear what we're offering 'I believe in terms of role scope' isn't acceptable to anyone credible. We need fundamental change or we'll regress further imo.
Not disagreeing, but have we spoken to multiple though, apart from the rumours the only definite was Still to my knowledge, the Rubber fella stated it was Maric, but we changed our mind when Still became available, therefore Still has only done to us what we did to Maric, if we have interviewed different people other than those two then I suppose you could call it multiple but as I stated not so sure that we have.

Maybe by being a coach in a team that won promotion one season and finished 6th the next despite one of the lowest wage bills and youngest squads.

If you are going to hold him accountable for the bad times then do you just dismiss the good?

When he played a less prominent role.

When he played a more prominent role we went to shit under Beale and him being the main man. Same as when Johnson left.

Him and Proctor are stinking the place out.

Don’t be surprised if he keeps Dodds around. Won’t mean he’s a yes man, but might be because he has knowledge of the group. Did the same at Hull

I agree with you in terms of Maric, he'd be my first choice. But you're arguing against yourself with this post.
I never actually said I wouldn’t appoint someone with no achievements, but I let it ride as it seemed to amuse a few. People need to read my post properly. I was asking why you believe Liam would be a good choice given he’s achieved nothing. I tried to explain why I think Maric would be a better choice, worked at big clubs etc.

I’m struggling to see how any mananger can be effective without some of his own coaches they are the ones that actually show people how to play football and instillthe style of play

This. You get the best version of said manager when they have people they can trust and who know him to support.

People having a pop at the fans again I see, for daring to expect the club appoint some one it’s taken them over 100 days to find.

Its massively underwhelming and if they mention anything about him fitting with the current coaching structure then they can fuck right off.
Are people not just having a pop at the logic?

Like if you're not happy about the way he's set up his sides in the past that's one thing, but it seems a lot of the whinging just seems to be for the sake of it, whether that's because he's not a fancy name or because he's been sacked from another club.

Not entirely true. We were going to shit under Mowbray as well. I know people don't like to accept that though

Not disagreeing.

But the absolute decline at the end of last season should be enough to suggest a refresh is required. Theres not many clubs where the same coaches would stick around for 4 or 5 years under 4 or 5 years.

We used to hear the same about Robbie Stockdale, sometimes it needs a change.

As I said before I’ll be very surprised if Dodds is his assistant

KLD is unhappy with Dodds performance. Beale is the only appointment that didn’t bring an assistant with him. And we were dropping Dodds back for still. Rosenior will come in with an assistant or two (if he does sign) I’d imagine. Otherwise I don’t see him accepting anything
Had two assistants at Hull both left when Rosenior left.

Ok, I’ll bite.

Beale was sacked on the 19th Feb.
Rosenior was sacked on the 8th May.

That’s 79 days.

What was our data and succession planning doing to find us a new head coach in those 79 days? How come it didn’t find any one and we are now a further 33 days down the line from it and looking to appoint another out of work manager who is likely to have to work within a coaching staff that oversaw form that went from us challenging for the playoffs to avoiding relegation by 6 points?

Surely people don’t want to defend the club this much than they are ignoring what’s staring them in the face?

It did. It found Maric. Then Still.
