Liam Rosenior

Don’t really think it is Rosiener, if he met last Tuesday then feel like something would be very close by now and feel some media would have picked up on that by now

As been said, wouldn’t have been my first choice but he did well at Derby with no money to spend and having to play bairns so, you never know.
He seems a decent fella as well, again, the polar opposite to Beale. I was gutted when it was going to be Beale, I’d be underwhelmed by Rosenior but without having the feeling of upcoming dread.

It's nowt like Beale. Rosenior done reasonably well at Hull and was generally liked by their support. Beale was massively disliked at his 2 previous jobs
I agree with this. I'm don't want rosenior buy there are worse out there and as deamtailed with Beale we have appointed worse in the past. Issue is we shouldn't appoint someone and think, that could have been worse. W should make an appointment that makes us all think wow, we really mean business.

Does Rosenior have a much worse record than him? He's only managed 1 full season. Just on a basic level Mowbray finished 6th on 69 points in 2023, Rosenior finished 7th on 70 points in 2024.

I'm unsure about Rosenior as well, but his record itself is not bad.

Mowbray has multiple promotions and took on a side with mostly players signed in league 1 and kids and no strikers for most of his time (obvs plus Diallo that was a big bonus) to play offs.

Rosenior spent/had spent for him a fortune and obliterated even 100% of turnover spent on wages to build a side intent on promotion at any cost.

Rosenior is of course a much smaller sample size.

I don’t even like Mowbray tbh either but there’s people using a cherry picked 7 game run when they scored 14 as justification of having him but this was eclipsed by Mowbray only a few weeks before he was sacked.

Hull had a good squad, definitely in attack. But we had Amad at the time as well. I'm not convinced their squad was much better.
Agreed. Fuck me the way some are going on, Hulls squad was the championship version of real Madrid and man city combined. They had 3 or 4 really good players for that level but the rest were a bog standard championship squad.
