Liam Rosenior

It feels like a Beale appointment to me, obviously, I will get behind any manager but it's deflating when we've let all the best ones go. I won't be happy with it at all and he has to get off to a good start otherwise he will be hounded out just like Beale. The club have waited 100+ days and gave the fans hope it was going to be someone decent after all this time, the fans won't take much more of it.

I think the panic aspect has to do with no one taking the job or at least them being unable to decide/commit.
The fact is, Still was spoken to by the club, looked certain to take the job then changed his mind.
The statement by KLD is simply an effort to placate us lot, they had no one else lined up.
When Still bailed they had no plan B in place.

This yes man crack is absolutely pathetic. They don’t exist at this level in the professional game.
Even Dodds had a pop at the recruitment in public. Mowbray and Neil both took the job in these conditions .

Im glad someone else thinks the same. There is nothing to suggest Rosenior is a yes man. But as “any candidate is a yes man” is the zeitgeist some people just can’t deviate from it.

How can it go so drastically wrong in 12 months from targeting one of the most promising managers around (and has proved his worth) in Farioli, only for the outrage to put a stop to it… to dilly-dallying over one appointment then ultimately losing out on him, to then seemingly being rejected by the next 2 people?

Not many think the same as you mate .. sorry

Getting his excuses in knowing he was gone, his equivalent of Bruce's "they didn't like me cos I was a geordie."

It's funny, because Dodds said very similar things, yet he's a "yes man."
Excuses of needing a striker and some experience in the team??

I think even Stevie Wonder could see that but the owners did not want to pay.

Funnily enough has been mentioned by a majority of football pundits, press and even Mr Beale so I don't think it was an excuse

Targeting a manager is all well and good, getting him is a different story. I'm certain Farioli would have told them to fuck off when it came to discussions.
