Not sure why he's being viewed as such a potentially bad appointment but admit that I'm not as close to it as the rest of you.

Agree, they looked decent when i watched them a few times this season knocked it about canny enough, I think he would suit our young side
That’s the main thing. Whoever comes in needs to be backed a bit. If they have to go through another season without a cdm and a striker they are already on the back foot.

They're quite an outlier in that way. The lower down the Y axis you are, the slower your speed is towards the opposition goal in metres per second. The further right along the X axis, the more passes you make in each sequence of possession.

You got it. They advanced the slowest in the league. Only Leicester and Southampton tended to make more passes than them.

Look at them trying to appoint a manager man, they're f***ing hopeless. No doubt we'll be shopping in the bargain basement for players again this summer. If we hire another no mark head coach how are we going to compete with the parachute teams and Leeds ? We are crossing our fingers that we can squeek one of the last two play-off spots with 65 points.
I know we used to be in league 1 and that there's Stewart Donald and Venkys, but bloody hell there's no way they can expect to challenge like this. I hear people say that at least they have a plan, well their plan is shit and looks like it's mostly lies anyway.
KLD's statement says lessons have been learnt from last season, I fear that he's about to prove the opposite.

The ones I speak to are definitely. They know what they are talking about and they don’t think Challinor deserves a club like ours.
Mind the ones I speak to have only followed Pools home and away for forty years and go to every England game home and away and come up,with us to watch SAFC quite often.
What would they know ?

Trouble is there was 46 matches. They spent a lot of time just passing it around in their half and not progressing forward. That is what the owner intimated at.
