Liam Rosenior

last chance for us to actually survive in the league I’d say. But I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns us down once he speaks to the morons in charge

Seems a nice bloke and harshly binned at Hull.
However wrong appointment if it’s him. Style of play once again so passive and possession in your own half. Really don’t think he would last the season.
See thing is, as far as I can see, whilst people on here are saying that (about his style of play) as a negative, it's absolutely what the club (at least those hiring) will actually be looking for.
They want slow, play it out slowly from the back, style of play.

I agree with your sentiment as fans, but I'm not sure thats how the club see it.

Interesting that only Plymouth had attempted to hire him since his sacking, and yet the main reason he turned them down was location. Can't see him overly wanting to uproot from Derby to here either

Derby to Sunderland a damn sight nearer than derby to Plymouth
Do it from derby in under 3 hours

Heavily linked with Birmingham too

‘Seem’
You don’t really know do you ?
Didn't say I did? Just that he looks it. I know he is your favourite candidate but no need to be overly defensive

Still an hour more there and an hour more back than Hull though is my point. 2hrs travel a day extra

We as fans can't choose, but SAFC is not fundamentally unattractive. The reason that nobody wants to come is because we pay buttons and we enforce a questionable model which is doomed because players are signed if they are cheap, not because they are good, not to mention Dodds etc.

KLD could make it an attractive job if he wanted to, but he's trying to do it on the cheap again. Only desperate people, or people from down the pyramid want it.

We don't have to accept shit at all. If we are served it yet again, then we need to get this fucker chased. We are a proud club and shouldn't be ran like this. We aren't going to be promoted with Rosenior and a load of freebies that's almost certain, the best we can hope for is to 'plod on'. It's time for him to sell to someone with the means to move us forward.
Unfortunately KLD is the man who pays the piper so the new manager has to accept that he has to dance to that tune. I don’t see a any potential buyers on the horizon so what would you suggest happens next?

Seems like a decent fella and would certainly hope it would work out for him. The one nagging doubt I have is he seems too nice

I wouldn't worry too much.Appearing nice doesn't mean being too soft.
Both he and his father have had long careers.

There's always a buyer, we just need to make it clear that he needs one sooner rather than later. He's absolutely useless and anybody who defends him has no ambition to challenge at the right end of this league.

Not defensive just there are a lot of people quoting false reasons for not having him

We got into the play offs under his ownership the season before last,
