jansen looks like haven a decent cv....so unless we are overpaying (unlikely)he will run for the hills once he sees the project we have on offer!I wonder if we will ever find out how many decent enough managers have turned us down ?and i wonder how many it will take the clowns in charge to get the message its their fault!

I dont know for certain thats why i asked the question!Saying that the picked beale !I personally believe that we have attracted a lot of interest from decent enough coaches but once they see the package behind the curtain they realise the job is to hard and run for the hills ...now you can believe the club chose not to hire narrative but i think you are wrong!

I’m not choosing to believe anything. I just don’t know why people are so quick to blame the club or the person they’ve spoke to so quickly. Nobody knows what the discussions were. It could be the clubs fault for not paying enough and it could equally be really stupid expectations from the person being interviewed.
Nobody will know how those conversations are going and likely never will.

So would I mate, but just this idea that it must be total incompetence that every person linked hasn’t worked out is crazy. Will Still for example sounds like a bit of a cock. I am perfectly sure that we wouldn’t pay what some might want but there’s no way every manager is rocking up and leaving because of what they’re presented with. I don’t for a second think the club are forcing every candidate into a cul de sac of working with their hands tied.

I think it’s fairly obvious some of our ‘terms’ are not working but the same can be said everywhere. They need to reflect on it though because they are clearly missing out on some they think are achievable.

Thats one way of looking at the world I prefer to look at what people do and not what they say will do and im a firm believer in the old albert tatlock saying "past is prologue" You look at past behaviour and use that info to guide your assessment!In truth its not infallible but but what in life is !.... I like a good idiom to use as shorthand and under kld its clear that they are using in most things the "cheapest we can get away with "rather than the "best we can afford" approach and if you apply that dictum to all they do you wont go far wrong!
