Liam Rosenior


When he got sacked from Hull my gut reaction was "I wouldn't mind him here", the first few pages of this thread looks like others felt the same. Must admit though that I hadn't seen much of Hull, I was mainly going on articles I'd read and the league table etc. Also it seemed like he did well at Derby under Rooney, Rooney did ok there but has been poor since.

Did Hull spend loads in the summer or just in January? Nice problem to have but it can be difficult to integrate lots of new signings into a team halfway through a new season, especially if you haven't chosen them yourself. I'd prefer Jansen (again just going on what I've read) but wouldn't be too disappointed with Rosenior.

Ha deffo! Not sure you always have to though, we spent relatively loads under Butcher and were chod. Reidy spent hardly anything in comparison and we went up as champions. We do need investment but 3 or 4 decent signings and a coach who brings some cohesion and intensity would have us competing I think.
 
I watched one of those videos which had Rosenior mic'd up during a training session and he didn't seem very convincing at all. He just wandered around and occasionally shouted some obvious encouragement at players. He didn't sound very inspiring, it was like he was going through the motions.

Mogga was the perfect example of idiot fans thinking he wasnt good enough for us.

Hopefully LR gets the gig and we push on. Im more confident with him in charge than the foreign names thats been thrown about

Maybe he had to be careful what he was saying cause he was been watched maybe he’s different with the cameras off

Be ok man he’ll be allowed to bring some quality coaches with him
 
He seems pretty devoid of 'ooomph' when he's interviewed post match (is my memory of the two I watched) and didn't seem to look at the interviewer... that suggests he's just hoping for the best to me, not what we need - Bealesque.

Reidy had that look about him of being a miserable bugger hence the song

I honestly don’t care how a manager comes across on interviews longs as they get the right results on the pitch
