Liam Rosenior

There we go. Has the penny dropped?
So you're basically saying you know nothing about him due to the little time he's had in the game, but yet you'd be happy with him here?

All we do know is he failed last season and was sacked for playing shit football.

Those are the facts, so he's simply not for me. Would be a shocking appointment

I've never said I'd be happy, I wouldn't be against it but that's hardly a ringing endorsement.
I don't think he failed last season. Moving a side up numerous league positions isn't a failure. Doesn't matter how many times you repeat it I won't agree with it.
I don't know if he'd be a success or not. You do. You're great . Well done

Thanks I appreciate it when people admit they were wrong and I was right.

Who knows how this will all pan out and who we’ll eventually appoint but if it is Rosenior I think it’ll be a decent enough appointment.

He was well regarded at Derby and did a decent enough job at Hull.

Ok he fell just short of the playoffs but in a decent standard championship his side had some excellent results and I’d hope he’d have learnt a lot from last season.

In truth I hope Jansen gets the job as he will seemingly be a more popular appointment but I certainly don’t think hiring Rosenior is anywhere near as bad as some.

Buzzing for the Speakgod statement.

“We have wanted Liam here for a very long time.”

Rossi, Dodds & Procco dream team.

Rosenior coming with his own staff while not a great appointment would be slightly bearable, however Rosenior coming and having Dodds and Proctor as his assistants would send many people over the edge.

If you can't see the bigger picture and the wood for trees, i'm certainly not pointing you in the right direction....

Too many times on here people stick their neck out trying to convince others of joke appointments, we all know how it ends......

All due respect pal, I’m regularly called a negative **** on here.

I would love some context on how a manager who goes into a club in the relegation zone, gets them save with ease, then just misses out on the play offs is such a bad choice.

I seriously don’t get it, Mowbray done an amazing job in the season we made the play offs, and Rosenior was one win from doing the same thing.

Think the difference is Mowbray won us over, and we played some of the best football many of us had ever seen. He succeeded in spite of the system. I suppose the arguement with Rosenior is he failed in spite of a system that brought him many excellent players.

They did finish 7th but their results were better than their performances, ours were worse, especially under Mowbray.

Results can turn on missed chances and individual mistakes, managers should be judged mainly on performances.
So you think we performed better than they did ? Before Mowbray left maybe there wasn’t much in it. Our performances and results for much of the season were much much worse. I’d take a Mowbray with room to grow in a second.

Wasting your time mate, you're only a Hull fan who has watched him first hand for the last two seasons, what would you know compared to some Sunderland fans who have watched about 6 Hull games (4 of which will have been against SAFC) during Rosenior's time there and think he's great?
This would be the concern for me, the only person in here who has watched one of his teams regularly isn’t a fan
