Liam Rosenior

Get ready to see a lot of passing between keeper and defenders if it is him, before you fall asleep anyway.

Not sure I'd have the random German we've replaced him with over him mind
He will fit right in with our owners ambition so am sure he’ll be fine

He was and remains my number one choice. Before he was sacked I was saying Shane we can’t get him from Hull, now it’s a no brainer. There is so much shit spoken about his playing style largely based on two games and the gobshite owner. I am certain he has a high ceiling as a coach and I hope we don’t miss out opportunity. Plus I hope we back him by giving him suitable players.
Fair enough that’s your opinion but you’re saying people are going off the games against us but what are you going off to think it’s better?

I watched 5/6 games Hull played aside from the ones v us and I was bored to tears in every one, except the one v Ipswich.

He did very well at hull the fans had nothing but good to say about him when he left and the common consensus was he was unlucky to go
People talk about the game up here, they had 7 first team starters out that night and still won
Post game he said it was worst they’d played
Year before they drew 4-4 up here the game was outstanding
He’s a young manager who’ll only improve for me
Someone we can build with over couple of years with a playing identity
Really hope it’s him from here now

I'm softening slightly on him, he has only had 1 full season after all, it's not fair to talk about his style like it's set in stone. He does seem like an intelligent bloke that players respect.

But his Hull side did create less xG than us last season and concede more xGA than us, so performances being poor has more validity than just the owner's quote

Record points total, most goals scored, least conceded and invincible.
Probably with the 2 cups as well

Hi Liam 😍
As I say I wanted him before Hull offloaded him. Had a lot of chats with Hull fans about how they were doing well because of him. The owner in my view is an attention seeker, not just based on this ‘I love Hull, come and fly in my aeroplane’ all that shite

Maybe that’s an indicator that xG is a load of stat to wank 😂. I hate it

It would appear whoever it is is on a hiding to nothing
The longer it went on, the move divided opinions were always going to become. I personally think rosenior isn't a fit for us, but equally can understand people may like him. To me a European. Manager makes more sense due to the path and structure we are trying to take.

Wasting your time mate, you're only a Hull fan who has watched him first hand for the last two seasons, what would you know compared to some Sunderland fans who have watched about 6 Hull games (4 of which will have been against SAFC) during Rosenior's time there and think he's great?
