Will Still - Lens Manager

AZ are one of the 'rubbish' teams though I think.

I mean, I have next to no knowledge of dutch football as I don't watch it but I think he did fairly well at a club that isn't fancied at all, and he did quite well in Europe iirc.
They’re second grade ower there. Ajax, Feyenoird and PSV are the Benfica, Spirting and Porto of Holland.
AZ and Twente Enschede are the Boavista and Braga in the second grade slots.
The rest are making the numbers up and feeder clubs……..of course I’ve probably missed another couple of second graders out but drink has been taken.

Here's a thought, what if we were the reason he was sacked?

And this whole 100+ days thing has been a bit of a smokescreen so we didn't get blamed for sniffing round an under contract manager? Especially as that manager hadn't long signed a 3 year contract. Also the more I look into it, hull played some of their best football under him, and if it wasn't for some key injuries and a lack of a striker would have hit the playoffs, no small achievement given the spending power and the quality of some of the playoff teams.
The reason he got sacked was the fact he plays awful football

Hope we get either Still or Jansen, if KLD was serious in the statement he sent out about them learning from last season then Rosenior is not the answer, his stats at Hull from 78 games were about 34% win, about 35% draw and about 31% loss in the championship. Pascal Jansen had 58% win at AZ over 162 games in the Dutch top league, Still had a 38% win at Reims over 65 games, his stats a little better than Roseniors but in the French top league. If it is Rosenior an underwhelming appointment then I feel it will be Groundhog day and we will be looking for another manager in no time.
I think he is exactly the answer

I’d say it’s because the owner is a bit deranged

AZ are a bigger deal in Dutch football than both Hull and Sunderland are in English football or Reims are in France.

Win percentage is interesting but I wouldn’t use it as the basis for choosing a manager. There are so many more relevant factors involved - quality of squad and league, style of play

Not to mention each job is different. A 50% win percentage here is unreal, a 50% win rate at Celtic is shite.
