Strange that the leaks of weeks ago said "imminently" also !hhhhmmmmmmmmmmm they could have taken this chance and been open withe the club ..they have had three months to organise this ..they could have said we have shortlisted some suitable candidates and will (barring logistical problems announce the successful candidate on such and such a date .....but no they are a shambolic bunch of clownshoes who see secrecy as a first choice.....and before folk bang on about why should we know well football is not like any other business and wihout the fans there would be no club so a little info should be the least they do!
It looks to me like they are scrambling to find someone to accept the job and that in itself should ring alarm bells even amongst the most idiotic clownshoe owner.

Meaning all the European football leagues play off and cup finals are now completed.

Meaning that from this weekend all their contracts are up and end of season so can be officially announced on this date.

Simple business really.

I think the problem was, they could have done it much sooner. They've waited 100 days and even after the Will Still crap they kept it quiet. If it is imminent then they may as well have just left it until it was announced, unless they are playing for time, we'll see.
 
Well I find it very reassuring. Its obvious that they have several really big names falling over themselves to get the job and quite rightly they are being subjected to a very rigorous selection process that probably involves 50 kilo backpacks and 30 mile jogs over the Brecon Beacons.

I just can't wait to see which internationally renowned football coach it might be.

Not possible to catch up (i.e am not reading two dozen pages of crap in the hope of seeing one interesting post)

I've decided to take this positively. Some different wording would have been nice.

"We really think we've got it in the bag but you'll hear nowt before Monday at the latest. Crack the cans and enjoy your weekend lads and lasses."
 
If he responded to every rumour social media would be in meltdown. I f he has got the appointment right,& he hangs about after all the negativity surrounding him it will show he does have the clubs future as an interest. However I do think he needs to flex his muscles when it comes to Mr Speakman, Mr Dodds & Mr Proctor

I’ve no problem with this. I wonder if it’s because Still to Lens is imminent but may be wrong on that. I have an issue with the fact that our first team operations seem messy and slow but people pissing the bed over this is weird. I doubt he’d have said owt unless he was solidly confident or this would just kick him in the balls further ahead. This is to reassure but some depressives are beyond that.

Of course he can win mate !stop hiding behind dull opaque and frankly uninteresting fiats..... keep the fans informed ,make them feel included and hire a communications pr person that will actually communicate with the fans !
