The problem Bruce had was short told him he had to sell he’s best playersBruce was a good manager. I could have coped with Bruce taking us down…and back up again

I think many of us try to see the good in people but in reality the club is sleep walking to Div3.This club is dead in the water. The longer these creeps are here the lower we will sink. The sad part is some still can't see it.
I can see Murty Dodds & proctor getting the jobs because no decent coach will touch this clubThis club is dead in the water. The longer these creeps are here the lower we will sink. The sad part is some still can't see it.
I have a mate who is big Hill City supporter. He has been sacked by Hull for a reason. We should be able to attract better. Are people forgetting that Hull stated they sacked Rosenior because of his style of football?

I have a team / programme of work in Hull, some involved in coaching and a former player’s family so close to the club. Not a single person wanted him gone and not a bad word said about him other than sticking to the same system at the seasons end but mitigated by the fact personnel were missing. Very well lied as a character also by dans and players. No suggestion he is a yes man either or he’ll do as he’s told - you could be right but you’ve just made that bit up because you’re frustrated. Zero guarantees Still would be better, I’d rather have Rosenior and have stuck to that throughout but I admit they’ve ballsed up because the club went all in.I have a mate who is big Hill City supporter. However, with Dumb and Dumber running the football side they don’t want anyone of note threatening their comfy positions, This fella will be a perfect appointment for them. Probably does a great PowerPoint presentation.
From the outside it looked like a harsh sacking, and I think he’d be a good appointment for us.I have a team / programme of work in Hull, some involved in coaching and a former player’s family so close to the club. Fair enough I can only speak of the lad I know and of course we have many differing views of the club on RTG as example.I have a team / programme of work in Hull, some involved in coaching and a former player’s family so close to the club. We definitely need to prove to those who know about previous coaches difficulties that we’ve learned and that means change and for me that is reducing Speakmans power or changing him. The club are idiots for not sorting this immediately. From the outside it looked like a harsh sacking, and I think he’d be a good appointment for us.
Problem is with the way the club is being run, I think he’ll wait for a better offer, just as Still did.
I don’t think it’s Rosenior we would need to be worried about, more the other bits you mentioned and not even the budget, more the not wasting it on unready players.Fair enough I can only speak of the lad I know and of course we have many differing views of the club on RTG as example.
However, given the much superior budget Hull had last season (disappoints me writing that) I’m not sure he is going to be much better than a Beale type character.
We need better unless we are happy to be in a relegation battle or mid table.
Call me arrogant but the biggest club in the championship deserves a little bit better than Hull City’s sacked coach imho.
i agree with you..the current policy of expecting promotion while signing kids makes success impossible..mowbray alluded to that and was sacked..john o shea alluded to it and so wouldnt take the job..If I was a coach looking for a job I wouldn’t touch Sunderland with this lot in charge
I think you and the poster above you need to get out more.I think many of us try to see the good in people but in reality the club is sleep walking to Div3.
The club need to get the message out that they are prepared to be far more flexible with recruitment. Otherwise as people have mentioned, it’s a huge red flag to prospective candidatesi agree with you..the current policy of expecting promotion while signing kids makes success impossible..mowbray alluded to that and was sacked..john o shea alluded to it and so wouldnt take the job..
I think you need to open your eyes instead of patronising comments but if you want to descend to that level you are Clapping the club to Div 3.I think you and the poster above you need to get out more.
Or = BealeIf our 2 games against Hull last season is a yardstick to judge his footballing style, then its Doddsy plus
Laughable that mind. On what basis would OShea be even considered for the Sunderland job.i agree with you..the current policy of expecting promotion while signing kids makes success impossible..mowbray alluded to that and was sacked..john o shea alluded to it and so wouldnt take the job..
