The Athletic: Brentford want Jobe

It's mad how much stick an 18 year old has got this season.

He's got plenty of potential. It's not his fault he got overplayed.

I think he'd be daft leaving to a prem club so soon.

It will be money we can't turn down so see ya later Jobe.

I'd like for us to get a decent manager and I think we'd see a different player next season and then get even more money for him.

It is if that was a stipulation to signing here. Considering he had in his contract at Birmingham a cut down release fee if he did play x amount

He was a mainstay in that disgrace of a team, not sure how you’ve singled him out as being ‘very good’.
 
I find it bizarre how many people think he's good for SAFC,

Forward, doesn't hold the ball up, bring people into play or make life difficult for defenders.

Number 10, drops into midfield and hides leaving a striker isolated, finds our fullbacks on the rare occasion he isn't dispossessed.

CM, plods around watching others graft.

Yes he scored a few goal, he also missed a load of sitters and was the main reason the ball was mostly in our half all season. Other than his age and build (that he doesnt use) what is the positives?

Nope, it’s an expression of interest from clubs, no formal bids etc.
Nothing saying he will leave.

He had one assist last season. Mainly playing attacking midfield.

18 years old or not, that’s terrible for someone who played 45 games.

Aye that's his fault his agent asked for a ridiculous thing and the club agreed to it.

He was 17 you think he's sitting going I must play x amount of games cos I'm the greatest player you've ever seen.
