Which is very, very telling. Something a bit fishy with this one, as Fabrizio hardly ever goes out of his way to dispute rumours.

I think it's Will Still, but to avoid compensation, it can't be announced until his contract with Reims would have expired, ie the end of the month.

Equally, the club can't be seen to overtly court Still at this time, for the same reasons.

Romano has been paid to keep it quiet in return for the scoop when we're ready, and Sky and the local press (Copely and Smith) have been fed the story that Still is a candidate but one of many with a long way to go.

May well not 100% accurate but someone does appear to be manipulating media reporting today.

Nah I don't think he was a failure tbf. There is definitely a lot of fans who can't see the bad form started while he was here and we weren't getting out of it.
What makes it worse is the total change in how we played, more possession based and the nonsense with 09 being a Poundland Beckenbaur and Hume being inverted

He’s close to Sunderland I think he knows who it is.

He also hasn’t commented on sky sports linking still to us and L’equipe linking still to lens

Why we did that and then insisted on sticking with it despite it obviously not working I’ll never understand.

I can only assume that ball playing defenders are worth more?

Like he and others point out there’s been huge errors, post like these just ignore that nobody is sitting here and saying everything is great.

People gan on like there’s a select few who are daring to ask questions. It’s a load of shite.

I was 100 itk about Still joining here till about a month ago. Now wicky is joining I'm completely ill at ease with the club. Not sure how they could mess that up they even agreed to over 24 acquisitions at stills request.
