There really is, those loaning the money do so because it favours them.

One way or the other, it's bad news unless you believe us to have an incredibly rich benefactor who will never let us down and if that were the case, he would be more than capable of providing that loan interest-free or better yet just putting it in no strings.
There isn't like. If a debt is serviceable and within your means then it's a good way of releasing funds.

But the club doesn't make money, it loses it.

Regardless, releasing funding beyond your means comes with interest, good short term, poor long term.

It occassionally makes more financial sense to take a loan, than to move money from a savings account that has good interest rates.

If you can take a loan that has a lower interest rate than the interest rates of the savings account, why would you not take a loan?

There is absolutely no need to worry about a person with a lot of wealth taking a loan.

There is no problem, and @Rocky77 is right not to see a problem.
Just point me in the right direction mate.

If a loan interest rate is less than the rate of return of an investment you’d be mad to use your own money

Probably need a billion or two to access the accounts

Generally need to be ultra rich, have a strong financial history, and be financially secure to both: secure loans with lower interest than a savings account, have a savings account with such high interest rates that loans have lower interest rates. They might also take a loan against an asset to lower the interest rate further; wealthy people like KLD, tend to have expensive assets.

Without trying to cause offense, I can't see either of us qualifying for anything like that unfortunately. My work does it occasionally though, so I've seen it happen first hand.
