I reckon he’s part of some kind of Paul McKenna experiment. One that proves suggestion, if said in the right way, always trumps actual facts.

Lad is never ever right, yet because of how he suggests stuff, they just believe it. He’s got his own catchphrase “magnus says”

I wouldn’t know who it is but anyone saying “I can confirm”, is letting the cat out of the bag somewhat. It’s quite an assertive statement and only those at the head table would use it. Yes ITK’s will say it’s him or not him etc. I don’t think they would ever use the word confirm if coming from another source of a source etc, cos they will look pretty stupid. It was totally out of the blue, signed up to post that and smacks of someone managing expectations. Or a fuckin weirdo who has Jack shit else to do

Serious question bud, who’s laughing at us? From the outside looking in we fucked up with Beale and rectified that v early. We announced an interim to see us to the end of the season and then relieved him of first team duties, just like we said we would, we’ve not had a head coach for 22 days? Our first team is away on holiday, the transfer window isn’t open for a fortnight, so not loads to do, and to an outsider we’re taking our time to get a head coach in so we don’t do a “Beale mk 11”, and the only place that our manager is being debated extensively is Sunderland based internet and social media sites, like this one. We, the average fan, hasn’t a clue who we’re after, or how close we are to finalising the appointment, for all we know it’s done and will be announced on a date when the contract runs from. So back to the question, who’s laughing?
 
I wonder how far down the list of candidates we are now or even if the original list has been ripped up and is consigned to the bin in Speakman’s office while he enjoys his holidays.

The club had obviously briefed local journalists that an appointment was going to be made pretty quickly once the season ended. A club official told supporters in a meeting that an appointment was imminent….. days turned into weeks and we remain rudderless.

I think at least two maybe more have had a look, seen the parameters of the job and thought ….no thanks.
