Your Durham Xl to start T20 campaign.

On a side note I’m going to our game at Grace Road on Friday the 7th with some lads from work. Should be a laugh. Hopefully we pummel them.

Aye, we can't afford to get membership card printed or open the stands for county games but we can afford to pay turner to replace our best batsman ...
See post 41 - Campbell has said in interview that Bedders will feature. He may of course just been trying to boost ticket (or T20 shirt) sales :)

So we're dropping one of our overseas signings, either way it's a waste of money.

I would think it would be up to Stoked if he felt he would benefit from playing he would play.
Exactly -he'll be getting itchy feet doing nowt for a month.Think we'll see him in a couple of games.

Tried to justify the AT signing by saying Bedders has shoulder problems which makes it difficult for him to throw. Then contradicted himself by saying he would be involved during and after the QF's which are in September when the 2 AussieS probably won't be available.

Agree with the itchy feet. I'm not sure the two 10 over spells in his first two comeback matches where part of the planned return to but he just can't help himself he loves to be in the contest and leading the way.

He said depending in availability of other players he might be

So Mustard will probably be playing instead of Jones once he's off. One of him and Potts/Coggers to miss out tomorrow then.

I suspect that Mustard is being eased in because we may need him because ollie could be off to 16.4 or with England or whatever. McKinney could still be ahead of him as a batsman

They've had to shoehorn in Jones as a 6/7 as a needs must sort of thing.

I don't know if McKinney game is suited to it he certainly looked pretty poor at it in the one day cup last year.

Mustard albeit against worse opposition looked handy batting down the order.

I was speculating yesterday. I wasn't sure who would be picked in that role instead of Jones. This must be a good indication otherwise it would be McKinney in squad surely.

I remember Campbell in Zimbabwe saying Jones will bat at 7 so it maybe a cunning plan or just to jrrp him involved.
