Joe Gelhardt

Sounds like could be a bit of a fire sale going to happen at leeds with their financial situation. We learnt Gelhardt isn’t an out an out striker for definite but if we are to push for promotion we are going to have to buy more than 1 attacking player. He’s better than what we have put it that way. 22 years old, English. Surely we could get him for 1 million. I think he’d be a decent investment at that price . Would certainly be a good squad player in my opinion. Only played 10 games for leeds last season I believe. We would still need a proven goalscorer but i’d see it as a decent signing if price right.

Don't be silly, that he is better than what we have isn't saying much. Bellingham who is not a forward is better than what we have...

He wasnt the answer last time we had him yet is still way ahead of any of the 4 strikers we signed. He still can’t score goals but at least knows how to kick a football. Recruitment has been so bad he looks like the second coming.

Think youre looking for something that isn't there mate - Clarke kept left side defenders interested.
No way of proving it but I defended the lads contribution to that run at the time, and I believe we would have been a much better attacking unit last season with him … if not a goalscoring one

There was absolutely nothing he was good at it. He was shit in front of goal and even when he dropped deaper, his link up play and passing was woeful. If he wasn't capable of linking up with Amad, Robert and Clarke in the same team then I don't hold much hope for him at this level.

That's not how i remember it, maybe in his first few games but he was definitely growing into games as he came up to speed. He seemed to be getting more used to senior football as his spell with us progressed.

His touch is shite as well

If we wanted three new Strikers at different stages of development then him as a player with a bit of experience, Muamba as a punt and an experienced player like Hardie wouldn’t be too bad.
