Over the years we have had far better coaching staff but there role is not of significance importance so when a new broom comes in it is normal for changes to be made.
I could have understood if he has come in and did a good job but some of his actions were both poor and bad leadership.
If they really believe that Will Still is the man to take us forward then Dodds should be the the last thing to try to hold onto.

Cynical me thinks kld wants to get maximum profit from jobe so keep doddsy to keep jobe happy would be my call ...if jobe is sold doddsy will out of the club pronto!

We've said for months now that insisting on keeping Dodds and Proctor will severely compromise any new Head Coach search.

Even if they are decent coaches, its clear after last season that a fresh set of voices and fresh energy are needed anyway.

Either way, just sort it out Sunderland. Its a total joke of a situation. No progress, communication, no nowt.

I honestly feel its Dog and Duck levels in that boardroom at times.

Speakman is a control freak and ot has to be said is under more scrutiny now than he has been before ... if he can't control things via dodds then is position errodes fast

Mowbray and beale had to play ball with KS ....the Pritchard and jobe episodes support that

Look how well controlling Dodds worked for him, second bottom since January, if the bloke doesn't see the danger looming for next season he is the biggest idiot in football.

Given his abysmal effort as HC he surely can’t have any complaints. He should be very happy he is still in a job.
