CC : Durham v Somerset

Once again no updates. A simple "we are hoping it's good to go for 11 but await the umpires call". It's not rocket science just tell us your thoughts on current conditions after the rain
Aye but they can't prejudge what the umpires decide. It's the umpires prerogative and if Durham say one thing and the umpires another there'd be hell on.

Bearing in mind what happened with the Hampshire home game I'll be surprised if there's any play tomorrow following yesterday's deluge and this morning's showers.
Glad to be proved wrong!
The lads were beginning to put the boards in a fortnight ago when the Academy were playing. I imagine it will be opened for the students next Friday evening.
Glad to be proved wrong again !

GERRIN Stokesy!!

Thought Raine was unlucky not to get Renshaw lbw earlier, in my view there was too much doubt over the height and line BUT we’ve been on the receiving end of so many shockers lately that I felt we deserved one.

Coggers was a little bit too wayward with his lines because he bowled a few absolute snorters but wasn’t able to sustain any pressure.

Shame Stokes can't be at backward point at the same time as he's bowling. As clark drops what would have been a screamer.

But then he strikes next ball!!!!
