Liam Rosenior


The Telegraph newspaper suggests Hull are interested in Tim Walter,recently sacked by Hamburg.
German,only coached in Germany,but has a good win percentage.

Nuno is likely to stay at Forest even if they are relegated and having managed in Saudi previously will want a hefty package to jump straight back in if Forest do get rid. Jokanavic was handsomely rewarded for a spell in Qatar and has done nowt for a good few year. Warnock is more than semi-retired.

Wagner is unlikely to leave Norwich even if they aren't promoted. Can't see Dyche leaving Everton anytime soon with all the uncertainty around their future.

Benitez, Howe, Bruce, Hughton and Neil we can rule out for obvious reasons.

That leaves one realistic appointment who has had a Championship promotion in the last 10 seasons.... it's Paul Heckinbottom.

I enjoyed reading all your reasons as to why it won't be all those managers but you spoilt it by talking shite right at the end.

The obvious one is the one who did it last season, is available and used to play for us.

But we’ll probably lose out. To Hull.

Are you Heckingbottom's agent? Give it a rest man, I can't imagine even Dreyfuss is daft enough to appoint some dreary journeyman with the current mood at the club.
 
Not for me.
I can remember when we played Hull at home earlier in the season and they were resigned to defeat and their supporters were saying they were turgid before the game.

Obviously they won in what was one of the worst ever live games broadcasted on Sky.

That's why he got sacked.

Asked to expand on how his ideas differed from those of Rosenior, Ilicali said: "I want offensive football. I want an attacking, entertaining team. I said it from the first minute I bought this club.

"I said I would rather lose 3-2 than have a boring 0-0. If you are counting the points and draw every game 0-0 you are going to get relegated. If you lose 3-2, it means you will win another game 4-1.

"My football brain is completely full of a successful and entertaining football style. Liam has a great philosophy but there are different styles of football in the world - Liam's direction can be successful but we want to see different things.

"It is not good for me to go to a coach and ask him to play a different way when he has a certain style of football."
