Not one to buy into conspiracies but starting to think that there might be some element of truth in the rumours that there's some sort of guarantee in his contract that he starts every game he's available for. Has needed taking out of the firing line for months and the way he's been managed this season is hindering his development as much as ours.

Like Callum Doyle a few years back it's been a masterclass in how not to manage a young player. At least Alex Neil had the nous to realise that he needed an extended rest.
 

This club man....so horribly run by the powers above especially since the Newcastle game, KLD becoming a father appears to have gave up with the club & treat the fans terribly with all the crazy decisions & lack of respect, as for Speakman he has to be the most arrogant man we've had at the club on par with Salmon pants...Absolute shambles

He was dropped for one game.
It’s counter productive. Losing value with his anonymous presence week in week out.
