Think it was just a temporary thing then done through the season A couple of years ago and they said at the tome the whole pitch needs replacing. Fair play for changing it though because it looks 100 times better than most of the pitches in the efl. Wonder if they are expecting increased traffic? Maybe start letting the women play at the sol more often.

Probably using the fact we only have one concert this year as the big chance to do it , so it allows us to try and get concerts the full summer after

the pitch was a patch up job.. stiching in a latticework of fibres to the existing subbase........im assuming this is a complete everhall from bottom to top?
 
I keep seeing “just in time for ST renewals” is the stadium getting a lick of paint and fancy new lights going to sway many from going or not going if they’re undecided?
 
2000 rails seats in Roker end - don’t 2000 already stand

If it was the full end I think it would’ve really brought on the atmosphere, don’t think 2k will make much difference

TBF we did tours of the Etihad and Old Trafford recently and that's pretty much what they said they had done to their pitches.
