It seems to be the same design as the hotels at the SoL and the 2 at Old Trafford. Not quite East German brutalist, but functional

at least the old trafford have framed them in red and look a little different. that looks almost like a homage to County Hall

The gym is the busiest part of that complex and the hotel wipes out the entire car park ?!?!?

When the hotel was discussed a couple of years ago, they were talking about a blue frame on it then.

Yeah the pitch facing rooms will be top dollar for when games are on and will no doubt have the hospitality thrown in with it.

I appreciate there are limitations with respect to design and that it needs to fit a certain space.....but that is lazy.

Agree. I think it will also obscure the view of the castle from one end of the members balcony and the seats below it.
