Only Pritchard out of the 11 looked anywhere near comfortable. The lad is proper quality and being in a good side he'd be even more so.

Pritch is the only one with PL experience and he’s not good enough to be a regular PL player. Clarke will be away in the summer if we stay down but SAFC need a big sale to be able to point to “the model” and say to the fans and media “look we know what we are doing”.

He would probably treble (if not more) his wages if he went and he’d be playing with top players. One great season and he could even push to get called up for England. People probably doubted that about Bowen when he went there.
